Ubuntu 13.04 problem connecting to the Internet using rt73usb and wireless usb mouse stops partially
I am new to Ubuntu. My PC (GIGABYTE 945GZM-S2) has 2 physical hard drive ; SATA (2 partition, win 7 installed on 1st partition) and an old 40 g IDE hdd with Ubuntu 13.04 installed on it. If I want to use Ubuntu I disable SATA drive from the BIOS and enable IDE hdd. If I want to use win 7 I do the opposite. I have rt73usb (which can connect to usb 1.1 or 2, it only connect to net if it hoked to the slow 1.1 (front USB). I have also a lapetc wireless usb mouse+keyboard (together in 1 usb). Both wireless usb stop working(not at the same time) properly after some time, rt73 more frequent , sometime it stops receiving data from the net in less than 2 minutes. the Internet is not reachable but the connection indicator says it is on. the Internet connection is on but it does n receives data. The system monitor is frozen too. unplugging the usb device (rt73 or mouse+keyboard) solves the problem temporarily, but it is annoying. Sometime when I try to shutdown the PC it does shutdown until I unplug rt73. On the CD´ s supplied with the hardware there is the motherboard driver for Linux (tar, g files), and also those for the rt73 wireless. Please help to solve these problems, I also want to know let rt73 connect to the net while it hoked to back usb 2 in the back (it try to connect but fails). Thank you in advance. lsusb dump rt73 concocted to the front usb 1.1 and c connected to the net (OK) but die after few minutes 945GZM-S2:~$ lsusb Bus 002 Device 017: ID 148f:2573 Ralink Technology, Corp.
